Don’t try this at home. One of France’s more famous extreme sports guys, Taïg Khris, jumped off the Eiffel Tower — twice — onto an enormous roller-blade ramp on Saturday evening. The first time he took the plunge from 12.5 meters (which does not sound as spectacularly high as it looks in this video) he really didn’t have a chance to roll before he slid down into the waiting cushions. The second time, he stayed on his feet just long enough to be convincing. His mother, looking on, said she was “very scared.” Taïg, knocking back gulps of Red Bull, which was one of the event’s sponsors, said he was high on adrenaline. No kidding.
